Devaramane betta is from the heart city of Karnataka. This newly recognized exciting village is located in Karnataka's coffee country,Chikkamagaluru.
Devaramane Hills is one of those places that gives you a taste of our state's exquisite charm. Wind gushes collecting all the fog around you and blows it up at you, wetting your eyelashes and will take you to a whole other realm of experience. The awe-inspiring area is known for its adventure, breathtaking views, relaxing ambiance, and a plethora of flora and fauna due to the thick Western Ghats on its side.
Devaramane is one of the premier destinations for travelers to spend their leisure time. Get to the top of Devaramane Hill- it's a short and easy climb- and look down at the shola-draped valley. It renders the joy that fills our hearts when we uncover our state's secret hidden gem.
Kalabhairaveshwara Temple, an ancient temple, is extremely popular among the people and is considered Mane Devaru by many of them. You get to see the modest but magnificent 800-year-old temple on the way up the hill. The statues around the temple are mostly undamaged, transporting you to another period.

• The early rise of the Sun from behind the ridges is a stunning. Devaramane is a valley of tiny hills with beautiful green valleys that is a photographer's dream. Across the temple is a lake where wild elephants are known to bathe at night.
• The magnificent view of the countryside may be seen at the peak of the Devaramane hills. Near this location, there are several tiny and large hillocks to be explored, including the unique Etthina Bhuja (bullbackhump), which can be seen from the top of the Devaramane hill.
• The shola fell valley's little streams of water pouring through the green-covered rocks, and the rushing sounds of the water stream are mesmerizing. The well-known fishing camp Kapila is approximately 15 kilometers away from the peak.
• The Mularahalli and Gutti are Devaramane's other two show-stealers. Living in a village brings calmness and enhances one's soul.
• Haarlu flowers, which only bloom once every few years, can be seen here.
• Devaramane hills is one among Karnataka's lesser known scenic locations. However, it is ideal for moderate hiking and photography.

Mudigere is the closest town to Devaramane via road. Devaramane is 18 kilometres from Mudigere. From Mudigere to Devaramane, there is road access.

There is no railway station within 10 kilometers of Devaramane.


The journey to Devaramane is just as adventurous as the Western Ghats. Private cars may go quickly and easily to Devaramane. There is no direct public transportation to this location, although there are direct buses from Bangalore to Chikkamagaluru and another set of buses from Chikkamagalauru to Mudigere taluk. To get to the village of Devaramane, you'll need to take another car from here. The journey from Mudigire to Devaramane is a bit of a challenge, with 9 kilometers of the single road followed by 7 kilometers of curvy wave way up the hill.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

6:30AM: Reach the bus stop or the nearest airport and from there take a cab to reach your homestay. If you're traveling by own vehicle, have your breakfast at hotels on the highway.
8:30 AM: Reach your homestay and freshen up. Have some delicious breakfast and coffee to keep you warm.
9:30 AM: Leave for Devaramane hills. The road begins to ascend and is sinuous, with a few hairpin turns. Even as the road steepens, take in the breathtaking views of the valley. The road flattens out as you reach the top, and you'll see a magnificent plateau surrounded by rolling hills. That is, assuming the weather isn't too bad and the sky isn't cloudy! 12:30 PM: Arrive to Devaramane. Visit the beautiful lake in front of the Kalabhairaveshwara temple. Climbing the surrounding hills is feasible if it is not raining. Spend atleast 30 minutes here. 1:00PM: drive towards Etthina Bhuja and trek up the hill. 2:00PM: have lunch at the nearest hotel. 3:00 PM: Drive to Charmadi ghat. Stop along the route to see the stunning Anekal Falls, which are visible from the highway. Make a point of stopping to admire the various cascades that pour from the mountains. Drive up to the medium point/highest point (where there are few ice cream carts)and then back down. 4:00PM: Return from Charmadi ghat. Take it easy on the road. Make careful you drive safely and park on the side of the road so as to not block traffic. 5:00 PM: Get back to your resort and enjoy the evening with some yummy fritters and hot beverages. 9:00PM: have dinner and get warmed in the campfire.

DAY 2

9:00 AM: Check out of your hotel and head to Mullayana Giri. This is a beautiful drive with a breathtaking view of the valley. The road is narrow in certain places. Drive slowly and carefully to the top. At daybreak, drive to the summit. Due to monsoon clouds, you will not be able to view the dawn, but you will be awestruck by the quiet and clean surroundings when there is no crowd.
10:00 AM: Arrive at Mullayana Giri peak. The time it takes to reach the peak varies depending on where you stay. It might take 30 minutes to an hour. Spend 30 to 45 minutes there.To get to the temple, which is the tallest peak, climb the steps. You may then return to your hotel for breakfast before heading to Bababudan Giri.
11:00 AM: Travel to Bababudan Giri. You must drive down the hill and turn left at the intersection— adequate signs will be provided towards Bababudan Giri. This is another lovely drive with spectacular valley views.
12:30: Make your way to Kemmanagundi. Drive down the winding roads, taking in the beautiful landscape, until you reach Kemmanagundi. You may take a walk around the area and upto the viewpoint for a beautiful view of the valley.
2:30PM: Have lunch at the nearest hotel.
3:30PM:Take a walk around the coffee estate and relax yourself.
4:30PM: Have a small break and have hot beverages and fritters.
5:00PM: Gear up for river trek until an exciting activity.
6:30PM: you may start moving to your places.
